Small Animal Sports Medicine & Rehabilitation Research Associate I

The Small Animal Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation Service, Department of Clinical Sciences at the CSU-VTH is currently conducting several canine clinical trials. We are evaluating factors influencing muscle recovery after surgery as well as various treatments for osteoarthritis. These trials involve common duties of a veterinary technician such as animal handling, blood draws and sedation procedures, but also constant coordination with the pet-owner to ascertain that owners return for all recheck visits. The trials also frequently include rehabilitation therapy as part of the treatment protocol. Our current team is unable to perform all duties on time which is holding back our enrolment. We therefore are looking for a third Research Associate to join our team. The proposed starting date is on or about June 18, 2018.
