<p class="MsoNoSpacing">SENS Research Foundation (SRF) is inviting recent PhD graduates and postdoctoral fellows to submit proposals for a fellowship at our Research Center in Mountain View, California. SRF pursues the development of therapies to prevent and reverse age-related disease and disability through a “damage-repair” paradigm: developing interventions that maintain and restore the structural and functional integrity of tissues by directly removing, repairing, replacing, or rendering harmless the cellular and molecular damage of aging. Applications are requested that promise progress in regenerative medicine for the prevention and reversal of age-related disease. <p class="MsoNoSpacing">Support over the course of the 3-year project includes:</p>

<p class="MsoNoSpacing">• Letter of Intent (LOI) outlining the 3-year research project and relevant qualifications</p>

<p class="MsoNoSpacing">Eligibility:</p>
<p class="MsoNoSpacing">• Ph.D. or other equivalent doctoral degree from a reputable domestic or international institution</p>
<p class="MsoNoSpacing">• Postdocs who are further removed from their PhD are welcome to apply</p>
<p class="MsoNoSpacing">• Visa support can be provided to international applicants</p>
<p class="MsoNoSpacing"> </p>
<p class="MsoNoSpacing">Successful proposals will have significant translational potential, will clearly identify the form of cellular and molecular aging damage to be targeted, and will describe the strategy to be advanced towards its direct detection, removal, or repair. Successful applicants will also demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to independently complete their proposed research program.</p>

<p class="MsoNoSpacing">Applicants should submit the LOI to <a href="mailto:Foundation(at)sens.org">Foundation(at)sens.org</a> by August 6, 2018. Strong candidates will be invited to submit a full research proposal for consideration, and final candidate will be interviewed prior to the selection process concluding in October 2018. The target start date for the fellowship is January 2019, but earlier start dates are welcome.</p>
