Post Doctoral Associate

Responsibilities
A postdoctoral position is available in the Emerson Lab (http://profiles.umassmed.edu/Profiles/display /132365) for basic and translational research in iPSC and adult stem cell biology in studies of skeletal muscle development, regeneration, muscular dystrophy and therapeutics.


Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Successful candidates are expected to have obtained a Ph.D., M.D. or M.D./Ph.D.degrees within the past three years and to have had research experience in developmental, cell and molecular biology and genomics technologies. Fellows will have opportunities to participate in multidisciplinary research at UMass Medical School and the UMMS Wellstone Center and Muscle Disease Program (http://www.umassmed.edu/wellstone/ ).
