Postdoctoral Fellow

Post-Doctoral position at the Laboratory of Chemical Neuroanatomy, Dept. of Anatomy ICB-USP. The postdoctoral fellow will receive a Postdoctoral fellowship from FAPESP, full time, with a monthly amount of USD$ 1,735,00, for 24 months and financial aid of 15% of the annual scholarship amount. Qualities/experiences required: a) interested candidates must have completed their doctorate in an area related to the intended project; b) they must be independent, have the ability to interact with the work team and have good communication skills; c) have independence in the English language (reading/writing/speaking); d) previous experience in Molecular/Cellular Biology, knowledge of silencing RNA and siRNA-carrying viruses, cell culture, rat stereotaxic surgery, knowledge of rodent neuroanatomy/neurogenesis is required. To assist in choosing the candidate, a face-to-face interview or via Skype may take place.
